The Via Arénéa secretes the Spider poison. He can either coat his weapons with it or spit it out. If he coats his weapons with it, the effect lasts for a Constitution turns modifier. If he spits it out, he must pass a ranged attack roll and cannot exceed a range of 3 meters.
If hit, the target must pass a Constitution saving throw of Difficulty 8 + proficiency bonus + Constitution modifier, or take half the damage.
The damage increases by 1d12 when you reach level 5 (2d12), 11 (3d12) and 17 (4d12).
